Turn off the cold water supply and remove supply line to faucet using wrench. Install push-in fittings to faucet and cold water supply line. Install filter mounting bracket to area under sink. Install filter to mounting bracket. Cut tubing to length to fit between filter and supply line and from filter to faucet. Connect the tubing. Turn on water supply and enjoy cleaner, better tasting water. It is not compatible with DWS 1500.

The cartridges feature five-micron carbon-block filtration with a non-woven blended pleat media. The cartridge provides a good flow rate for residential and light commercial applications. A slow dissolve rate provides consistent dosing and long cartridge life.

Manufactured by 3M Purification Inc., formerly CUNO Incorporated, the Aqua-Pure AP431 Replacement Cartridge is made from FDA DVR-21 compliant materials. It fits a canister unit 10-1/4 inches (26 cm) high and 2-3/4 inches (7 cm) in diameter. Designed for use in a cold-water line before the water heater system, the cartridge will operate at temperatures up to 100°F (37.8°C) and at water pressure up to 125 psi (862 kPa). It has a flow rate of up to 10 gallons (37.9 liters) of water per minute. The cartridge should be replaced every six months at a minimum. It is for use with Aqua-Pure AP430SS Scale Inhibitor System.

The 3M™ Aqua-Pure® Water Filter Cartridge AP810-2 helps to reduce sediment particles as small as 5 microns in size, as well as rust, providing clearer water for drinking, bathing, laundry, and other household uses. 3M’s exclusive Micro-KleanTM XL progressive porosity technology forces water through pores that become increasingly tighter, filtering smaller and smaller microscopic particles. The unique process allows the cartridge to effectively reduce sediment while providing a high flow rate. The cartridge lasts up to six months before replacement.
